These 9 sessions are a combination of messages provided by Dr. Mark Hitchcock for your education and edification regarding the times we live in and the days (years, centuries, etc.) ahead. In particular, focus is placed on why and how we should live our few remaining years on earth to maximize our future for all of eternity.
It is difficult for the human mind to realize (or even consider) what “eternity” means – the finite mind just can’t quite go there. So, think about it this way, what if you had made just a few simple changes in the decisions you made as a teenager (or younger) and the result was that your life now was 1000% better (not just 100% better, but 1000% better) – however you might define “better.”
A convention speaker told this story: He said, “What if I told you I would pay you $1,000 for every lap you made around this room, regardless of how you did it. Assuming you believed me, what would you do?” Of course, everyone agreed they would make as many laps around the room as they possibly could, even crawling if they had to for one more lap. Why? The determined that the promised "reward" was worth it.
Even Jesus practiced this principle: Hebrews 12:2: … fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Why/how did He do this? He believed God.
Consider forming a small group of fellow believers (and even “seekers”) to watch this exciting series together. Questions for group discussion are provided along with study notes pages.

Many Christians today are feeling the pain of what is happening in their countries and in the world and are reaching out to God and His Word (the Bible) for help, guidance and assurance. This is a wonderful response to the times in which we live.
One popular practice, however, is to "extract" a verse or two from the Bible and "pray" as if it were a promise from God for us, our country, or the world today simply because it is in the Bible.
As Bible-believers, we must be extremely careful how and when we do this. One such example is the promise given to the exiled Jewish people in Babylon in the Book of Jeremiah.
In this teaching, Pastor Jay Risner, provides insight into the passages that precede the "famous quote" in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope" in order to help us better understand the promise, including the instructions given to the people, and know what (if any) of the instructions and the promise may be applied to believers today.

How much of what is happening today (political/civil unrest, COVID, natural disasters, etc. etc.) can be seen as indicative of "the end times?"
Does the Corona virus have any relevance to the end times?
Which chapter of Revelation are we in today?
Does study of the Scriptures provide any answers that are clear and understandable?
A Bible-scholar, with particular emphasis on prophesy, Dr. Mark Hitchcock provides a clear, relatable message as a guest speaker in a church in Anaheim, California, USA.
